IGS Certified to ISO 9001 Standard
In March 2009 IGS Ground Services obtained an ISO 9001 Standard Certification. ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems. ISO 9000 is maintained by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies. This is a major milestone in the IGS’s history but last five years the company has been working days and nights towards the implementation of the quality system.

Some of the requirements in ISO 9001 include:

A set of procedures that cover all key processes in the business.

Monitoring processes to ensure they are effective.

Keeping adequate records.

Checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary.

Regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness

Facilitating continual improvement.

The IGS staff will continue to emphasize on providing their customers a high quality service where the watchwords are that their customer should get a value for their money. The IGS quality system is approved by an independent agent and appraised twice a year by the same party.
